Add to Calendar 10/14/2015 08:30 AM 10/14/2015 12:30 PM America/Chicago Christian Faith and Life Conference Divine Shepherd will be hosting its 3rd annual Christian Faith & Life Conference on Saturday, November 14. Our topic is “Recovering a Christian Worldview of Marriage and Family” and our presenter is Rev. Hans Fiene. Below is a brief description of this topic: What has happened to the world? That’s a question we often ask when we see the latest story about Planned Parenthood selling the body parts of aborted children or when we hear about a Christian florist who’s been sued for refusing to do an arrangement for a gay wedding. So how did we get to this point? Where do we go from here? How can we trust in Christ’s victory and how do we keep our children faithful in such a faithless world? Rev. Hans Fiene, pastor of River of Life Lutheran Church in Channahon, IL, and senior contributor to The Federalist, will discuss how we can recover a Christian worldview of marriage and family in such troubling times. This half-day conference begins at 8:30 a.m., is interspersed with three breaks, and concludes at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome. Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church false MM/DD/YYYY
